Nelson County Barn Quilt Trail Debut Weekend - Oct. 11-13

The Nelson County Barn Quilt Trail will observe it's 1 year anniversary this month.  In the past year we have grown from 13 quilts to 28 quilts, more than doubling in size.  This summer, 5 new barn quilts were hung.  Three in the city of Michigan and two at Stump Lake Pioneer Village. 

A free map with directions to all 28 quilts will be stocked at our local businesses by Oct. 10th.  This map can also be found below or at the city websites, www.michigannd.com and www.lakotand.com, to be printed off.  Remember, this is a self guided driving tour that is open year round. 

Please plan a trip to northern Nelson County the weekend of Oct. 11, 12 & 13.  Enjoy the painted barn quilts and the fall colors all at once!
