**WIN THIS BARN QUILT**

The Nelson County Historical Society is having a raffle on this beautiful 4' X 4' barn quilt (eligible to be placed on the Nelson County Barn Quilt Trail), painted and donated by Sylvia K. Daws.  The pattern is called "Pierced Star".  They are also raffling a queen size quilt in the Log Cabin pattern (fall colors) made and donated by Darlene Quam.  Raffle tickets are $2 each or 3 tickets for $5.  They are available from any board member. Contact people are:  Diane Swenson, 247-2546 and Larry Hoverson, 345-8532.  Prizes will be drawn for on September 1st, at 3:00pm in the Main Street Building, as part of the 2014 Threshing Bee.  Need not be present to win.
