Deputy McPhereson Assists in Case

On April 2, 2023, Nelson County Sheriff's Deputy McPhereson was advised to be on the look out for a 15 year old runaway juvenile from South Dakota. Deputy McPherson spotted the juveniles vehicle abandoned in the city of Lakota. Due to some excellent detective work from Deputy McPherson he was able to locate the juvenile at a residence. Deputy McPherson was able to take the juvenile into his custody for 7 hrs until they were released back to the family. Nelson County is lucky to have such a great Deputy working on our team. If you see Deputy McPherson around stop and tell him hi, give him a fist bump and tell him great job.
