Nelson County Social Services, along with Griggs County Social Services, is now known as Eastern Plains Human Services Zone.  It is located on the lower level of the Nelson County Courthouse in Lakota.  There is a telephone by the door on the east side of the building where a call can be made to Social Services and a staff member will come to meet with you.  A chair lift is also available for clients to use on the east side of the building.

If you have a Child Abuse concern needing attention after office hours, please call local law enforcement or 911. 

To make a report of suspected child abuse or neglect, please call the ND CPS Central Intake Unit at 1-833-958-3500.
